A series of photographies on Isla del sol (sun island ), over the bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. This is the place where the incan empire was born. Centuries before the place was inhabited by the Quechua and the Aymara people. Although originally the island was a religious centre inhabited only by chamans and priests nowadays it's got a population of about 2000 people who live from the fishing and the corn fields. Still some of the remains of the ancient temples can be seen in here. Under the lake, old cities remain untouched.
